About Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist to join our team and take on the responsibility of designing, developing, and maintaining database objects. This includes tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and hands-on experience with T-SQL development, performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.

They should also have working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and hands-on experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools. Additionally, they should be familiar with database version control and CI/CD deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database objects for optimal performance
  • Optimize T-SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans
  • Support cross-platform integration with Oracle databases
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines
  • Implement and monitor database security, backup, recovery, and high availability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
  • Collaborate with application developers to design normalized and scalable data structures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-7 years of total IT experience with 5+ years in SQL Server database development
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Hands-on T-SQL development experience
  • Proven skills in performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools
  • Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery
