Job Description

As an experienced application engineer, you will interpret system requirements into design specifications. You will lead the end-to-end implementation or support of advanced allocation systems for retail and consumer goods clients.

Responsibilities include configuring allocation rules, managing planning calendars, and interpreting allocation outputs. You will analyze data results, tune parameters, and collaborate with stakeholders to align allocation logic with business goals.

Requirements include 7–10 years of experience in supply chain/retail domain, with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in advanced allocation systems. Strong understanding of allocation strategies, product/channel hierarchies, and inventory visibility logic is necessary.

You must have knowledge of upstream/downstream system integrations, experience in conducting data validations, tuning allocation thresholds, and running test scenarios. Solid data analysis skills, including SQL, Excel, and ability to interpret results to recommend optimization changes, are also required.

Skills include BlueYonder Allocation & Replenishment. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional understanding of product distribution, inventory flow, and channel allocation strategies with technical knowledge of Blue Yonder configuration, rules engine, and integration points.

Benefits include driving unit, system, and user acceptance testing for allocation configurations and enhancements. Hypercare and post-implementation activities, including performance tuning, are also part of the role.
