Job Role Overview

Senior analyst – Knowledge Services engagement involves working in the financial controls team, supporting the CFO's office of an European private equity client.

  • Key responsibilities include managing project areas, allocating tasks among team members, monitoring transactions and reconciliations, and coordinating with different teams to ensure timely communication.
  • Additional requirements include generating analysis and reports based on client requests, improving current reports, and working with other teams on special projects.
Qualifications and Skills

Required skills and qualifications for this role include:

  1. Three to five years of post-qualification experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  2. Ability to understand group structure, review relevant consolidation adjustment entries, and analyze variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses.
  3. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, with VBA programming knowledge being an added advantage.
  4. Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, Business Dynamics, and others is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

The following key responsibilities are required for this role:

  1. Lead across project areas in the engagement, including regular and ad-hoc ones.
  2. Manage the activity dashboard, allocate tasks among team members, and monitor various requests coming through different communication channels.
  3. Constantly monitor transactions interfaced between ERPs, fix or flag issues accordingly, and communicate with different teams on a timely basis.
  4. Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by the team, ensuring they meet best quality standards.
