Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and visionary DevOps Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient DevOps solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our infrastructure strategy, ensuring high availability and security while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions on GCP that align with best practices and meet the needs of our applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain DevOps strategies that optimize deployment processes, enhance automation, and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
  • Advocate for and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducible and version-controlled infrastructure.
  • Establish monitoring and logging frameworks to ensure visibility into system performance, enabling proactive identification and resolution of issues.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard our infrastructure and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 8-12 years of experience as a DevOps engineer with team lead experience of 3+ years.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
  • In-depth knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.
