Chief Technologist

We are seeking a full-time Head of Technology & Data Science leader with managerial responsibilities to oversee our India technology and data science operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead India-based teams of software engineering staff, data scientists, and other technical staff involved in developing clinically relevant, AI-enabled, enterprise-level health analytics and risk management solutions.
• Manage the development of AI and NLP-based analytics products with an end-user clinical and care management perspective.
• Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions for health risk, clinical summarization, and health equity analytics.
• Build internal service tools and platforms that process healthcare datasets, EHR, claim, and care management data.
• Demonstrate operational efficiency by continuously improving project management tools and processes to optimize team performance and results.
• Cultivate continuous innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Guide the team's ability to transform ideas from high-level business problem statements into practical data- and AI-driven health analytics.
• Foster a high-performing team of skilled staff through selective hiring and integration.

Qualifications:

• Experience running and leading cross-functional teams across different geographies and time zones, with expertise in team building, coaching, and mentoring.
• At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including maintaining/operating at least one software product for 2+ years.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud computing, data processing, or data science.
• Extensive leadership experience and excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Strong executive presence and effective communication with US leadership.
• Degree in computer science, math, statistics, or another engineering field.
• Strong software security focus and mindset, experience with security certifications.
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to translate client and SME insights into product and operational requirements for technical teams.
• Experience working with healthcare data and/or in the healthcare domain.
