SAP FICO Consultant - Product Costing Job Description

As a highly skilled SAP FICO consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing SAP Costing processes. This includes ensuring accurate product cost estimates, cost of goods manufactured (COGM), cost of goods sold (COGS), and variance analysis in SAP S/4HANA (or ECC).

To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience with Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger, and integration with MM, PP, SD, and CO-PA modules. Additionally, strong knowledge of BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers for cost roll-ups is required.

You will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business needs. Your responsibilities will also include supporting monthly/quarterly closing activities related to product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field is necessary. Relevant certifications such as SAP Certification in FICO or Management Accounting are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in automation of costing processes or use of SAP Fiori apps is an added advantage.
