Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a senior manager in bus body manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process from start to finish.

  • Production Planning and Execution
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Optimizing Resources

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Quality Assurance

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as jobs per hour (JPH), overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and downtime to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement strategies to reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.

Process Improvement

Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes through lean manufacturing techniques and quality management systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.

Team Leadership

Manage and mentor production supervisors and line staff to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members grow professionally and personally.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in automotive production, with expertise in bus/coach body building, BIW, assembly, and electric vehicle manufacturing.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, along with cost control and budgeting experience. Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP) systems is also required.

Candidates must have a strong understanding of bus body structure design and manufacturing, as well as leadership and team management skills.

The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions is crucial in this role.
