Structural Repair Manual Author

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Repair Manual Author to lead the creation of comprehensive repair manuals for various aircraft programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and revise SRM IDs (IPC) for Airbus SA, LR, MB, and XWB programs.
  • Familiarity with Airbus standards, tools, and processes is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Airbus tools such as SAP PCS module, SRM 3D ident, Zamiz, Airbus Supply, Airnav, APS, PASS SSI, and VPM is required.
  • Understanding and implementing impact analysis to create content that meets change requests.
  • Guiding junior authors and illustrators, training new comers, and performing root cause analysis.
  • Developing content for knowledge and training sessions and reviewing work orders completed by junior authors.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Aeronautical Engineering or AME Diploma in Aeronautics with technical publication experience.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using Airbus tools and software.
