Reliability Specialist

The primary function of this role is to oversee the maintenance and operational reliability of all plant utilities, mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment across the pharmaceutical facility.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, utility, and process equipment.
- Maintain and upkeep critical utilities, including boilers, chillers, DG sets, and water purification systems, ensuring energy efficiency, minimal downtime, and continuous operation of the plant without energy loss.
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systems.
- Manage HT/LT electrical systems including transformers, switchgears, panels, cabling, and substations.
- Supervise mechanical utilities and process equipment like HVAC systems, purified water systems, and other critical utilities.
This role requires strong analytical skills to identify and resolve underlying issues in equipment failures and system inefficiencies.
Additionally, proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking, planning, and optimizing maintenance activities is essential.
Accuracy in maintaining technical documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance records is also required.
Energy management awareness and understanding of energy-efficient practices are necessary for optimizing utility consumption.
