Tax Expertise in Alternative Investments and Private Equity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team, specializing in partnership tax experience for Alternative Investments and Private Equity Practice groups.

This role involves preparing and performing technical reviews of partnership entities and related state filings, including the preparation of intermediate and complex level tax returns.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and leadership qualities to manage concurrent assignments and direct teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Review: Perform thorough technical reviews of pass-through entity tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Research and Consulting: Conduct research and provide consulting services on tax matters, utilizing knowledge of Subchapter K reporting requirements.
  • Team Management: Direct and control concurrent assignments, delegate tasks, and provide feedback to associates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Customer Relationship: Maintain excellent customer relationships, gathering data from customers and third-party sources, and resolving open items/issues encountered on assigned engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree: In accounting or finance, with significant progress toward EA License or CPA certification.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting firm experience, with expertise in partnership entities (Form 1065) and Subchapter K reporting matters.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, effective time and work management skills, and leadership and project/team management skills.

Working Environment:

We offer a flexible working environment, with the option to work remotely as needed. The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time, with seasonal overtime required during busy periods.
