Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Automation Testing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cucumber, Java, and API testing with a strong background in automation testing for banking applications.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts for Airline PSS applications. The successful candidate will utilize Cucumber and Java for behavior-driven development (BDD) automation testing and perform end-to-end API testing to validate integration and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automation Test Scripts: Create high-quality test scripts using Cucumber and Java to ensure seamless integration and high-performance of critical airline applications.
  • Perform End-to-End API Testing: Validate integration and functionality of Airline PSS applications through thorough API testing.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring compliance with airline industry standards and best practices.
  • Enhance and Maintain Test Frameworks: Continuously improve and maintain test frameworks to enhance automation efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Automation Testing: Proven experience in automation testing, specifically in the banking domain.
  • Strong Proficiency in Cucumber and Java: Expertise in Cucumber and Java for BDD automation testing.
  • Hands-on Experience in API Testing: Knowledge of tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI for API testing.
  • Experience Working with Test Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium or similar.
  • Knowledge of Airline Reservation Systems: Understanding of airline reservation, departure control, and inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and Version Control Tools: Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with experience in Banking application, exposure to performance and security testing, and knowledge of SQL and database validation will be considered preferred candidates.
