The Opportunity

At Snaphunt, we're seeking a seasoned Java Technical Lead to spearhead the development and maintenance of our enterprise SAAS applications. This role offers a unique chance to make a lasting impact on our global clientele.

The Job

  • As a Java Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of technologists in designing and architecting software systems that cater to the needs of our global clientele.
  • You'll have the opportunity to solve complex business problems using a niche technology stack of Core Java, React.js, Elastic Search & MongoDB.
  • This role comes with the responsibility of recruiting and mentoring technologists to implement product functionality.
  • You'll also be responsible for solving problems related to scaling and performance tuning the application to deal with Big Data.

The Profile

  • Our ideal candidate has software development experience on at least one web technology stack such as React.js, Angular.js, and Spring MVC.
  • They should have experience in leading a team of technologists, mentoring, and helping them with day-to-day technical impediments to achieve business goals.
  • The candidate should have experience in technical architectural design, keeping considerations of performance, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
  • They should be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology as Scrum master or team member, having exposure to estimations to task allocations using Jira or Rally or similar tools.
  • Our ideal candidate should have exposure to software development best practices such as manual and automated code reviews, design reviews, unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, etc.
  • They should have good communication, presentation, and leadership skills to drive thought process with internal and external clientele.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • CI/CD process knowledge and hands-on experience of deployments are also required.
  • MySQL Database expertise and Java Spring Boot & Hibernate expertise are a plus.
