Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Business Strategies: Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotel, aligned with our overall mission, vision, values, and strategies.
  • Engineering Department Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for the hotel engineering department to support achievement of the hotel's goals.
  • Status Monitoring: Monitor status regularly and adjust strategies as appropriate.
  • Annual Budget Development: Develop the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Committee.
  • Marketing and Sales Planning: Participate in the development of the annual marketing, sales, and yield management plans and strategies.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Quality Improvement: Continually improving the hotel engineering department and adhering to hotel brand standards.
  • Revenue Maximization: Maximize profitability and revenue by directing the Engineering department.
  • Vendor Management: Managing the Engineering department and third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality.
  • Quality Control Programs: Developing and implementing quality control programs.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Reviewing contracts and negotiating revisions to contractual agreements with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Plan Interpretation: Interpreting plans and contract terms with the Engineering team, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Responsible Business Programs: Maintaining Responsible Business programs and training for the hotel.
  • Hotel Renovations: Managing hotel renovations, coordinating project status with the Regional Technical Services Office, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
