About the Job

We are seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding of scalable data systems to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust, secure, and high-performance data solutions that empower analytics and data science initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Building and optimizing lakehouse architectures on Azure using Delta Lake.
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical leadership to translate those into actionable plans.
  • Implementing data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows from diverse sources (APIs, databases, cloud storage).
  • Ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle.

You will have the opportunity to leverage Azure services such as Data Lake Storage Gen2, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and Key Vault.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expert-level experience with Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex transformations and performance tuning.
  • Advanced Python skills for data pipeline development and orchestration.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

A strong growth mindset, collaboration skills, and excellent communication and documentation skills are also essential for this role.
