Job Title: Interior Space Designer

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interior Space Designer to join our team.

This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for designing and developing interior spaces that blend imagination with precision. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then use your expertise to create custom designs that exceed their expectations.

  • Create detailed blueprints, layouts, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Develop high-quality technical drawings and design documentation to support accurate execution by contractors and vendors.
  • Translate client requirements into visual concepts that clearly communicate the design intent and functionality.
  • Maintain organized design files and ensure all documentation is updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of all design elements.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure project delivery meets agreed-upon quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations.
  • Source cost-effective yet high-quality products that align with project aesthetics, durability, and budget requirements.
  • Prepare material boards and samples for client approval before procurement.
  • Ensure all design solutions adhere to applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, sustainability practices, and new materials/technologies for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct quality checks during project execution to ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.
  • Document compliance measures and provide guidance to contractors and clients on regulatory aspects.
Qualification Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering / Industrial Design (Master's preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and related design visualization software.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in architectural/interior design, project coordination, or related field.
  • Proven track record in preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and 3D models.
