Cloud Security Engineer

  • Design and implement secure Kubernetes clusters, including Admission Controllers, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Pod Security Standards, Network Policies, and Secret management.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and Ansible for efficient deployment and management of cloud-native systems.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps with ArgoCD to ensure seamless collaboration between developers, SREs, and security teams.
  • Automate deployments and monitor workloads in Kubernetes using Prometheus and Grafana for real-time insights and issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain secure and reliable cloud-native systems on AWS, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Develop scripts in Python and Shell to support automation and operational tasks, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices, including CIS benchmarks for Kubernetes.
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, its related security features (e.g., Admission Controllers, PSPs, Network Policies), and cloud security frameworks.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EC2, and RDS.
  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based delivery and DevOps toolchains.
  • Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell for automation and task execution.
  • Understanding of container security tools, such as image scanning, policy enforcement, and secret management.
