Finance Intern

We're seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an intern.
This paid 26-week internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in financial analysis and accounting. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders and accounting teams to develop your skills and expertise.
Responsibilities- You will report directly to the Senior Manager, India Accounting Operations, with functional reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting & Consolidation
- Assist with processing general accounting transactions, including cash and bank reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, prepayments, and accruals
- Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close cycle
- Assist with balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Analyze and comment on monthly, quarterly, annual variances within income statement and balance sheet line items
- Support the preparation of documentation for internal control environment for SOX compliance
- Respond to audit requests in a timely manner
- Assist with ad hoc Oracle reports and business requests
