Job Overview:

A senior quality assurance engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the development of high-quality software products that meet regulatory and functional requirements.

This individual will be responsible for performing manual and/or automated testing to validate product integrity, designing and reviewing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting results.

The successful candidate will lead test efforts, implement automation frameworks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while maintaining high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the end-to-end functionality of software products and stay trained on new features
  • Develop and execute test cases for software applications using both manual and automated approaches
  • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing
  • Validate compliance with industry regulations such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, HIPAA, and ISO 13485
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Track and report defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla
  • Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • Maintain accurate test documentation including test cases, scripts, and execution logs
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Agile testing knowledge and experience with Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in Test Management Tools like HP ALM, Jira, Xray, Zephyr, IBM Rational, and TestRail/TestMo
  • Advanced skills in Manual & Automation Testing using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, RobotFramework, Java, and PlayWright
  • Performance Testing expertise using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner
  • API Testing and design experience
  • Knowledge of CSV (Computer System Validation)
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience using tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub Actions
  • Risk-Based Testing skills using methods like FMEA and ALCOA+ Data Integrity
