job summary:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy and quality for reporting and analytics purposes. You will help develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of data within the service lifecycle, partnering with business development teams to design resilient solutions that improve supply chains and customer experience. Your analytical skills and expertise in data quality tools will be key to solving complex problems, cleaning, and standardizing data to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and rectify data quality issues.
  • Implement effective data cleansing strategies to address identified discrepancies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
  • Utilize advanced data profiling tools such as Talend, Informatica, Trifacta, etc., to assess data quality characteristics like accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Partner with data owners and collaborate with IT and business teams to establish data quality standards and address underlying issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on data quality metrics, trends, and issues to management and stakeholders, offering actionable insights and improvement strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by refining data quality processes and supporting the integration of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Leverage critical thinking skills to analyze complex data, identify patterns and anomalies, and propose effective solutions.
Professional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data quality or data management.
  • 1+ year of experience in data cleansing and standardizing data to ensure accuracy.
  • Experience with data profiling tools like Talend, Informatica, Trifacta, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in data quality tools such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Collibra, IBM Infosphere, Qlik, Precisely Data Quality 360, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data patterns, anomalies, and quality issues.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in data quality management or data governance is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical concepts for accurate data interpretation.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
