**General Ledger Accountant Job Description**About this role:The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:
  • Record Financial Transactions: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.

  • Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of company assets.
  • Support Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
