Cloud Architect Leader Role Overview

This position requires a strong balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to oversee cross-functional teams and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud architecture designs.
  • Create and maintain cloud architecture best practices, governance, and security frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions.
  • Design cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and execution.
  • Mentor engineering teams on architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT with a focus on Cloud Architecture & Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on Azure experience across enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proven experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud adoption frameworks.
  • Expertise in Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep for IaC.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python and YAML for scripting and automation.
Fundamental Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Certifications in cloud computing, DevOps, or related fields.
