Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, India.

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and services. Your primary focus will be on supplier management, where you will work closely with suppliers to qualify them according to our company standards and manage approved supplier lists.

You will also be involved in initiating and driving SCAPA's/NCR's to suppliers not performing or adhering to our company standards, as well as managing supplier change requests. Additionally, you will assess supplier performance on a periodic basis and drive necessary actions for continuous improvement.

Another crucial aspect of this role is establishing processes to ensure that suppliers deliver high-quality parts, materials, and services. You will lead PPAP execution with suppliers, ensuring robust supplier process qualification/validation through IQ, OQ & PQ methodology.

In this position, you will monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle, communicate and resolve supplier-related problems as they occur, and develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited regularly to meet good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards.

You will also provide pre-market quality engineering support to new product development (NPD), working in partnership with component engineering and post-market supplier quality teams to deliver quality parts, materials, and services, prevent defects, and allow us to provide customers with the highest quality and reliable products.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with component engineers to develop and deliver product acceptance sampling strategies, approved supplier list coordination, supplier-owned quality deployment, PFMEA, MSA, control plans, and relevant quality tools and methodologies for new products and legacy products.

Last but not least, you will define receiving inspection requirements as required and associated test method validation for all internal test methods.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical Discipline

Minimum 8+ years of quality systems experience

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Ability to comprehend principles of engineering, physiology, and medical device use

Previous customer-facing and/or project management experience

Comfortable working with international and multi-cultural departments and groups in different time zones

Able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude
