Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the release and QA activities planning.
  • Define the scope of work and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans according to the specified requirements.
  • Report test results and defects;
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues in the software;
  • Develop and maintain automated tests.
  • Analyze test results and configure testing environments.
  • Design and enhance automation frameworks.
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows.

Requirements:

  • Capability to perform both automated and manual testing.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
  • Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies – test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners and developers, as well as work independently.
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Familiarity with the Agile software development lifecycle and the role of QA within it.
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and experience coding in JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of the Page Object Model.
  • Experience with REST API testing.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in test automation and functional testing, including practical experience in automation.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole automation engineer on a project.
