About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Data Ingestion and Correlation: Design and implement data ingestion and correlation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
• Template Creation: Develop pre-defined templates and custom templates for reporting needs, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly outputs.
• Multiple Report Formats: Implement multiple report formats, including CSV, JSON, images, and PDF, to meet diverse reporting requirements.
• High Availability and Auto-Scaling: Ensure high availability and auto-scaling of the service to meet workload demands and maintain optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Automation Lead: Lead the automation of test cases for Web UI and backend APIs, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
• Defect Management: Direct the process of defect identification, tracking, and issue management to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• System Monitoring: Manage system monitoring, performance, log, and metrics analysis to optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX engineers, software architects, and developers to devise effective testing strategies and drive software development.
• Customer Support: Address customer issues promptly to support critical business operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• CI/CD Automation: Develop and maintain the automation of CI/CD processes for services and solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
• Global Coordination: Work with product development and support teams across multiple countries to ensure global coordination and alignment.
• Compliance Testing: Conduct compliance testing, such as vulnerability testing for PCI compliance requirements, to ensure regulatory adherence.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Python Programming Skills: Possess advanced Python programming skills for developing automated test scripts independently.
• Testing Experience: Have experience in testing Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and serverless applications.
• Cloud Technologies: Proficiency in RDBMS, NoSQL, Data Lakes, and other cloud technologies in environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD processes, tools, and services, including Jenkins and Docker.
• DevOps Understanding: Understand Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) in DevOps contexts.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
• Agile Mindset: Self-motivated with an agile mentality to adapt to changing requirements.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
