About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux operating system internals and kernel tuning, as well as experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Red Hat Virtualization. They will also have familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation tasks, and experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Ensure system security by implementing best practices, security patches, and firewall configurations.
- Manage system resources efficiently to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in on-call rotations and respond to system alerts or emergencies as needed, and assist in capacity planning and scalability efforts to accommodate future growth.
