Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment, and monitoring standards for our customers. This includes working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, DevOps, and infrastructure as code. They will be responsible for designing and implementing secure infrastructure, monitoring, and logging solutions. They will also work closely with our development team to ensure that our applications are secure and meet the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps and cloud security. They will have a strong background in infrastructure as code, security first mindset, and demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices. They will also have experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP.

Preferred Qualifications

Azure certifications, Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert, and knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) are preferred qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement build, deployment, and monitoring standards for customers

- Work closely with development team to create automated CI/CD system

- Design and implement secure infrastructure, monitoring, and logging solutions

- Ensure applications meet highest standards of quality and security

- Collaborate with development team to ensure secure development practices

- Develop and document CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code IaC baseline

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux based environments

- Administer and performance tune application stacks, such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX, and others

Key Requirements

- Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps and cloud security

- Strong background in infrastructure as code, security first mindset, and demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices

- Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging

- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
