Key Role: Financial Planning & Analysis

The role of the Financial Analyst is pivotal in providing strategic and tactical support to senior management, focusing on planning, analysis, and reporting functions. Primary responsibilities include supporting the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, statistical records, regular forecasting, annual operating budgets, variance analysis, audit support, and completion of special projects as assigned.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate key business metrics to track and monitor MoM, QoQ, and YoY performance of existing units and segment-wise reporting.
  • Obtain categorical spend data from SAP and analyze for Cost Center-wise reports.
  • Develop key metrics on cost reduction and EBITDA impact to each LOB unit.
  • Perform various types of analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Manage selected KPIs, management reporting, business presentations, and communication to senior management.
  • Support the finance team in providing monthly reports and extend support during audits, budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
  • Develop and maintain vendor/freelancer and other schedules.
  • Standardize and implement automation initiatives.
  • Result-oriented and supportive team member needed to develop and lead cross-functional teams to build business cases for identified opportunities. Validate, execute, and assist in implementation plans.
  • Manage invoicing, PO creation, and billing tracking for ongoing projects across APAC.
  • Identify members of and coordinate activities of cross-company business stakeholders and procurement teams.
  • Monitor and report savings and other performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-6 years of experience in corporate finance/FP&A with a strong understanding of financial statements.
  • Strong financial modeling skills coupled with an understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls.
  • MBA finance or semi-qualified finance professional preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, constantly changing, performance-driven environment.
  • Experience working with senior management teams.
  • Desirable skills: Excellent Ms-Office working knowledge, stakeholder management, business partnering, adaptability, goal-oriented, self-starter, willingness to learn, multi-tasking, ownership mindset, and effective communication skills.
  • Technical skills: SAP, BPC, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, macros in Excel advantageous.
