About the Role
The Annuity Support Specialist plays a vital part in driving annuity sales growth by working closely with financial advisors and sales consultants. This role requires 12-18 months of intense training and development, followed by transitioning into a National Sales Consultant position.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed annuity illustrations based on product features and client scenarios.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to annuity illustrations, product training, and new business requirements promptly and professionally.
- Liaise between carriers, new business, advisors, and consultants to troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of annuity products, including changes in features, rates, and regulations.
- Develop deep annuity product knowledge across multiple carriers and product types.
- Educate advisors on annuity features, benefits, and competitive positioning via Teams/web conferencing.
- Utilize Salesforce as a territory management tool to track activity and manage pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on annuities or insurance products.
- Obligation to obtain licenses and certifications such as Series 7, LOMA, Series 63/66 within 18 months of hiring.
- Understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
