Job Title: Lead Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled architect to lead our architectural and master planning projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

About the Role:

The Lead Architect will be responsible for leading the comprehensive planning, design, and execution of architectural and master planning projects. This includes project leadership, feasibility analysis, stakeholder coordination, meetings management, consultant review, standards compliance, reporting and proposals, cross-disciplinary collaboration, regulatory adherence, site oversight, design solutions, and final inspections.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Direct architecture, plotting, and master planning efforts to ensure high-quality outputs and timely project delivery.

2. Feasibility Analysis: Collaborate with the land acquisition team to assess project feasibility and prepare necessary test-fits.

3. Stakeholder Coordination: Work alongside sales, project managers, and consultants to synchronize space programs and project timelines.

4. Meetings Management: Schedule and lead project kick-off and weekly review meetings with consultants and internal teams to ensure progress and address challenges.

5. Consultant Review: Critically evaluate and provide constructive feedback on consultant deliverables throughout various stages of project development.

6. Standards Compliance: Support all planning, design, and implementation activities in accordance with established standards and protocols.

7. Reporting and Proposals: Develop comprehensive feasibility reports, design proposals, and engaging presentations tailored for internal and external stakeholders.

8. Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Partner with MEP engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects to refine and finalize design concepts.

9. Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations.

10. Site Oversight: Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality, provide guidance, and document observations.

11. Design Solutions: Address design-related challenges proactively, offering effective solutions to construction teams with necessary technical guidance.

12. Final Inspections: Oversee snagging and final inspections prior to project handover, ensuring completion meets all specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) is mandatory; a Master's degree in Architecture or Urban Planning is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint presentation creation and delivery is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of SketchUp and hands-on experience are required; familiarity with USGBC and Revit is an added advantage.
• Prior experience working on-site is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in architecture
• Experience in real estate design management.
