About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multimedia Entertainment Specialist to join our team at Mirchi. In this role, you will be responsible for hosting live and recorded shows, creating engaging content for various social media platforms, and contributing to the overall entertainment experience of our listeners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Show Hosting and Content Creation: Plan, monitor, and create scripts for live and recorded shows, ensuring they align with editorial guidelines and brand proposition.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase followers and engagement on social media platforms, including shooting, editing, and posting videos.
  • Voice Over Work: Provide voice overs for commercials, show promos, and station identity elements, showcasing your excellent communication skills and great voice and diction.
  • Idea Generation: Create ideas for special events and specific days, keeping our content fresh and exciting for our audience.
  • Research and Interviews: Conduct content research, interviews, and sound bytes for shows other than your own, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly track and analyze competing radio channels for music trends, content, show format, and specials, staying ahead of the curve in the industry.
  • Celebrity Interviews: Contribute to questionnaires for celebrity interviews and content of shows by doing outdoor broadcasts, showcasing your professionalism and dedication to quality content.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks assigned by the Programming Head or Producer, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
Internal Stakeholder Management

You will work closely with Cluster Programming Head, Programming Head, Producers, First Impression Manager, Promo Producers, and other Jocks to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Graduation with Any Specialization: A degree from a recognized university is required.

Estimated Salary

Rupees 8,00,000 - 12,00,000 per annum (depending on location and experience), making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about entertainment and media.
