Job Overview

The role involves developing, integrating and maintaining Python scripts and automation tools that align with existing codebases in the automotive segment.

You will be responsible for utilizing state-of-the-art AI tools to develop solutions meeting quality, performance and functionality requirements. This includes writing clean, modular and reusable code with proper architecture, documentation and robust error handling.

In addition, you will design, implement and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytest or unit test, ensuring high test coverage and meaningful assertions.

You will optimize existing scripts for performance, maintainability and readability while following consistent coding standards and modern Python practices.

  • Software Engineering Principles: Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices is essential.
  • Automotive SW Development Tools: Strong background on automotive SW development tools (Simulink, Jira, Targetlink, Canape, ECUTest) is required.
  • Modern Python Features: Proficiency with modern Python features and libraries (e.g., typing, f-strings, context managers) is necessary.
  • AI-generated Code Validation: Experience validating and adapting AI-generated code responsibly is required.
  • Code Analysis and Debugging: Demonstrated ability to analyze, debug and refactor codebases, including code written by others, is essential.
  • Version Control Tools: Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
  • GUI Design: Proficiency in designing GUI using Python or MATLAB to optimize workflow is required.
  • Automation Tool Development: Proficiency in developing tools to automate work products, handle large datasets and generate automated reports is necessary.
  • Test Automation Framework: Test Automation Framework Development experience is required.
  • C Coding and M-scripting: Must have good working experience in manual C coding and m-scripting.
  • Analytical and Conceptual Skills: High analytical and conceptual skills and ability to work independently are essential.
  • Presentation and Communication: Good presentation and English language skills are necessary.
