Job Description:
  As a Senior Packaging Manager at Transformative Learning Solutions, you will be responsible for developing innovative packaging ideas that enhance attractiveness and improve functionality while reducing overall costs of production.
  Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Design & Brand Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product development, and Packaging Suppliers to drive consumer-focused innovative and optimized packaging solutions.
  Accountabilities:
• Coordinate with designers and other members of the content team to come up with optimal design/packaging solutions.
• Maintain records of packaging requirements and predict packaging requirements based on information supplied to ensure timely delivery and minimize stockouts.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain the lowest rates possible while ensuring high-quality packaging materials.
• Identify new vendors, develop existing ones, and coordinate with them to ensure all requirements are met and delivery timelines are respected.
• Conduct quality checks at vendor facilities and ensure every piece of packaging delivered is inspected and meets quality standards.
• Train packaging staff on proper packaging techniques and maintain strict quality control.
• Proactively coordinate with marketing and product teams to predict packaging requirements and ensure adequate supply in advance.
• Ensure packaging is suitable for its intended purpose and compliant with FDA regulations and local regulations.
• Monitor and document daily activities with quality and warehouse departments to optimize manufacturing and packaging efficiency and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of sample development and quality assurance, obtaining necessary approvals.
