We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lending Systems Specialist to join our team at Idexcel. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business analysis expertise in one or more of the following segments:
- Commercial Lending/Leasing
- Syndicated & participation lending
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE)
- Small Business Administration (SBA) & USDA Lending
- Construction Lending
- Equipment Finance
Business and Systems Analysis:
- Conduct business process mapping, requirements gathering, and gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement business strategies and execution plans to meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead digitization and process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee testing, training, and system implementations/integrations for core systems.
Technology and Systems Expertise:
- Work with industry-leading Core Loan/Lending platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Fiserv, Jack Henry).
- Collaborate on implementations of Commercial Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as nCino, Abrigo, Moody's CreditLens, Built, CapitalStream, CreditQuest, and Sageworks.
- Contribute to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all solutions align with governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Maintain documentation to support compliance audits and system reviews.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry and professional services consulting, including client delivery.
- 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, configuration, or design.
- Hands-on experience with loan origination, underwriting workflows, and lending technology.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in business process modeling, change management, and risk management.
- Deep knowledge of lending workflows/processes and regulatory compliance in financial systems.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending processes.
- Proficiency in tools and methodologies such as Use Case Analysis, Digitization/Imaging, and Quality Assurance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with industry-leading platforms such as Fidelity, Fiserv, and Jack Henry.
- Familiarity with LOS systems such as nCino, Abrigo, Built, and Moody's CreditLens.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to innovate in a dynamic environment.
