About the Role

As a Junior Data Engineer at Yolo Group, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data warehouses and ETL processes. You'll work closely with our business intelligence team to develop and maintain BI services and data reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data warehouse schemas to support business intelligence and data analytics
  • Develop and maintain ETL procedures for data ingestion from multiple platforms and external sources
  • Collaborate with the platform team to understand platform architecture and data flows
  • Contribute to the implementation of a full-stack data solution, from raw data to actionable insights
  • Investigate and resolve crypto/fiat transaction reconciliation issues to ensure accuracy in reports
  • Optimize data warehouse processes and ETL pipelines for efficient, low-latency data consumption
  • Assist in integrating new data sources into the data warehouse
What We're Looking For
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and API integration is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of basic database concepts, such as SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Node.js
  • Willingness to work on crypto/fiat transaction reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
  • Interest in ETL tools, data warehousing, and learning business intelligence practices
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to business needs and changes
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to team discussions and problem-solving
