Databox Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI developer to join our team. As a Power BI developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• You will utilize Power Query (M language) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Efficient data models are your domain, and you will create and manage them with ease.
• Your expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas is unmatched, and you will use this skill to create custom measures, calculated columns, and tables.
• You will connect to and query data from databases such as SQL Server and Azure SQL DB.
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes require your attention, and you will assist in their design and maintenance to support reporting needs.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation and configuration are within your capabilities, and you will ensure data privacy and security.
• The Power BI Gateway for on-premise data connectivity requires your management and maintenance skills.
• Your excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills will make you a valuable asset to our team.

• Hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer, ideally 2 to 4 years.
• Strong proficiency in both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL DB.
• A solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and star schema/snowflake schema design.
• Experience with implementing RLS and managing the Power BI Gateway.
• Excellent soft skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
