Controller Role

Prepare and present financial information within the corporate finance function as per requirements specified by relevant stakeholders and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Financial Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a standardized closing calendar to ensure accurate trial balance and facilitate effective decision-making.

II. Controller Forum Facilitation: Organize and coordinate the controller forum to review and improve the hygiene of financial statements for EMEU subsidiaries.

III. Audit Committee Support: Prepare and finalize audit committee deliverables, including proofs of annual reports and error-free reporting.

IV. Intercompany Transaction Management: Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

V. Subsidiary Financial Review: Conduct regular reviews of subsidiary financials on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure correctness of financials.

VI. Consolidation Procedures: Coordinate and finalize consolidation procedures to ensure statutory compliance and timely completion of group financial statements.

VII. Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to accountants to resolve queries and standardize formats and reconciliations.

VIII. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement automation tools to enhance system functions and MIS.

Requirements:

Education Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant)

Relevant Work Experience: 3-8 years of accounting experience with strong controllership skills and knowledge of SAP & BPC tools.
