Shopify Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Developer to join our team at OptiSol Business Solutions.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, including front-end design, back-end integration, and custom app development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional Shopify solutions.
  • Provide insights on Shopify's capabilities to enhance sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
  • Ensure the storefront is user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Optimize Shopify Liquid themes for performance and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify applications using Ruby.
  • Customize and extend Shopify's Data Model to fit specific business needs.
  • Integrate Shopify with other applications through the Shopify API, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of AI-powered apps from the Shopify Appstore, conducting proof of concepts and managing installations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Shopify Liquid Theme development (front-end).
  • Strong understanding of Shopify's Data Model.
  • Experience in custom app development on Shopify, including back-end development with Ruby.
  • Expertise in integrating Shopify with other applications through APIs.
  • Ability to install, configure, and manage Shopify apps effectively.
  • Experience with Shopify Magic AI development is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Shopify Verified Skill Badges / Certifications completed.
