Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Automation QA Engineer to provide quality assurance support to clients, working in UK hours.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • They should possess 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 5+ years in automation testing, API testing, and database testing.
  • A strong background in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG is required.
  • Expertise in API testing frameworks like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI is essential.
  • A solid understanding of database testing concepts and tools, with SQL query writing experience, is necessary.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring QA teams in Agile environments is desired.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing is crucial.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN) is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker) is desirable.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is highly valued.
