Export Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced export coordinator to manage logistics and supply chain activities. As an export coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating with the sales team to plan shipments based on customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Monitoring daily stock levels and releasing daily invoicing plans to ensure timely payment and inventory management.">
  • Preparing pre-export documents, such as commercial invoices and bills of lading, to facilitate smooth shipment execution.">
  • Coordinating with manufacturing sites for shipment movements, including tracking and verifying product quality and quantity.">
  • Negotiating freight rates with freight forwarders to optimize shipping costs and minimize delays.">
  • Coordinating with freight forwarders, transporters, and custom brokers to ensure efficient and secure shipment execution.">
  • Providing shipment intimation to customers, ensuring they are informed of delivery schedules and any changes or issues that may arise.">
  • Verifying post-shipment documents and submitting them to banks within stipulated timeframes to maintain compliance and avoid penalties.">
  • Handling customer queries and audit-related issues in a professional and timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction and resolve any discrepancies.">
  • Proficient in handling LCL and FCL shipments, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo movement.">
  • Preparing documents under Letter of Credit and LC Clause to facilitate international trade and minimize risk.">
  • Proficient in working on ERP systems like TCS ION/SAP HANA to streamline processes and improve efficiency.">
  • Liaising with shipping companies and custom brokers to ensure seamless and compliant shipping operations.">
  • Preparing MIS reports to provide insights and analysis on shipping performance and trends.">

  • Graduate in any field, preferably with a background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.">
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in export coordination at an executive level, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.">
