Job Title: Security Firewall EngineerWe are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Security Engineer to support the design, deployment, and ongoing operations of secure network infrastructure.This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Fortinet FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including advanced threat protection and VPN services, as well as strong proficiency in configuring and managing Citrix NetScaler (ADC) load balancers.The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset with a focus on availability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls, including NGFW features: IPS, application control, web filtering, antivirus, etc.
  • IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for site-to-site and remote access
  • High Availability (HA) clustering and health checks
  • Firewall rules, NAT, routing, and segmentation policies
  • Manage and optimize Citrix NetScaler (ADC) appliances for load balancing of web and application services
  • SSL offloading, certificate installation, and renewal
  • Content switching, rewrite/responder policies, and access control
  • Monitor and troubleshoot firewall and NetScaler performance, logs, and alerts
  • Perform regular security rule reviews, software upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
  • Assist with incident response and forensic analysis involving firewall and NetScaler traffic
  • Document configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5–8 years of experience in network security engineering roles
  • Deep hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, including NGFW and VPN features
  • 2–3 years of operational experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and access control concepts
  • Experience managing security logs and events, and familiarity with SIEM workflows
  • Ability to perform detailed troubleshooting with packet capture and diagnostics tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fortinet NSE 4/5 or higher certifications
  • Citrix networking certifications (CCA-N, CCP-N)
