Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) for electrical design and coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. They will develop electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create, manage, and coordinate 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • Develop electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
  • Prepare electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure clash detection and resolution through multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors for BIM execution and coordination.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling for MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing.
  • Experience with clash detection, coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.

This role requires a strong understanding of electrical design, Revit MEP, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
