**Job Title:** Data Engineer SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our data infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our data architecture and ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines: Use GitHub Actions or equivalent tools to create efficient and reliable pipelines for code deployment.
  • Configure and Maintain Branch Protection Rules and Workflows: Ensure seamless code integration and deployment by setting up branch protection rules and workflows in GitHub.
  • Build, Optimize, and Debug Large-Scale Data Processing Jobs: Utilize Databricks (Spark) to develop and optimize large-scale data processing jobs.
  • Automate Databricks Deployments: Use Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) or similar frameworks to automate deployments.
  • Design, Develop, and Test Robust Data Pipelines: Create robust data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Implement Unit Testing, Validation, and Quality Checks: Implement unit testing, validation, and quality checks for data workflows to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Manage Multi-Environment Deployments: Manage multi-environment deployments (Dev, Stage, Prod) to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Write and Maintain Configuration Files: Write and maintain configuration files (YAML, JSON) for workflows, pipelines, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Configuration Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve configuration or syntax issues in YAML and related files.
  • Migrate Legacy Reports into Modern Dashboards: Migrate legacy reports into modern, self-serve dashboards (Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver data models, insights, and reporting they can trust.
  • Establish Guardrails with Data Contracts and Documentation: Establish guardrails with data contracts, quality checks, and documentation to ensure long-term reliability.
