Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of the Agile team, you will collaborate throughout the software development lifecycle. You will guide and participate in the design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any reported issues.

You will work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership. Your primary objective is to deliver on commitments and meet deadlines on complex initiatives.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will collaborate on organization-wide initiatives with other Agile development teams. You will research, validate, and recommend technologies to deliver robust, secure, and scalable services and architectures.

Your responsibilities will include setting up, developing, and maintaining best practices for the team including thorough code reviews. You will also have the ability to ramp up quickly and efficiently on new technologies.

You will provide architecture and detailed design documents enabling grooming and planning. Furthermore, you will investigate and resolve complex customer issues.

Mentorship is also an important aspect of this role, as you will be responsible for mentoring team members.

To stay ahead of the curve, you will continuously learn and champion promising new methods relevant to the problems at hand.

This role requires close collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, and front-end engineers in a multidisciplinary work environment.
