CAD Designer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D CAD models for fine jewelry.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in jewelry design and be proficient in Matrix (preferred) or Rhino software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and manufacturable 3D CAD models for fine jewelry.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to convert design concepts into workable CAD drawings.
  • Modify and improve existing designs as per client or production requirements.
  • Ensure CAD files are optimized for CAM and 3D printing processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest jewelry design trends, CAD techniques, and tools.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the jewelry industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Matrix (preferred) or Rhino software.
  • Good understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, finishing).
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
