  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architecture specialists to improve future products
  • Apply data-driven approaches to target optimization efforts
  • Stay informed of software and hardware trends, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture
  • Design and develop new innovative technologies
  • Participate in ASIC and hardware bring-ups
  • Debug existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work
  • Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for engineers with at least 3 years of experience in BIOS, firmware, or system software development. Key qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with ACPI, USB, PCIE, SATA, and other PC industry standards
  • Proficiency in X86 assembly and C language
  • Experience with at least one BIOS code base (AMI, Insyde, or UDK open source)
  • UEFI expertise is essential
  • BSP development, Boot loader (uBoot), CoreBoot, BIOS related tools development, and Video BIOS development experience are desirable
