Security Program Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of a world-class security program for our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments of site operations models and implement mitigation measures
  • Establish and implement effective procedures, processes, and prevention programs impacting losses and accident trends
  • Conduct frequent site security audits to identify non-compliance equipment and processes, and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury
  • Ensure guarding vendors have a clear understanding of expectations and hold them accountable to deliver on service level agreement requirements
  • Work with guarding vendor's management to recruit, hire, and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization
  • Serve as department liaison and security subject matter expert, addressing safety and security incidents, and conduct testing of incident response plans
  • Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicators, coordinating with various support teams as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in investigative, loss prevention, or supply-chain fields, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Or, minimum 10 years of armed forces or law enforcement service experience with at least 2 years of corporate Security, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work with and effectively persuade facility site leaders and other key departments within the organization
  • Analytical leader experienced in performance-based action and results-oriented management, strong project manager, and effective problem-solver
  • Familiarity with databases, querying, and analyzing, such as SQL, MySQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc.
  • Experience with delivery stations or cargo handling stations and transportation network security is preferred
