Job Title

The role of a Technical Lead is to lead and coach a team, independently write test cases, and develop scripts based on software requirements.

Danfoss seeks an experienced professional with expertise in Embedded Systems Software Testing using LabVIEW and Test Stand. This person will lead and coach the team, independently write test cases, and develop scripts based on software requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Writing software testcase specifications and management.
  • Scripting test cases per specification.
  • Testing, executing, and reporting.
  • Leading and coaching the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) is mandatory.
  • Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) is preferred.
Preferred Attributes:
  • 8+ years of experience in Embedded software testing using LabVIEW and NI Test Stand.
  • Creating test strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written English.
Specialized Knowledge:
  • LabVIEW, LabVIEW Realtime, and FPGA.
  • Ni TestStand.
  • Understanding of CAN Communication & Protocols like UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, and J1939.
  • Test Specification Management & Tools like Polarion or Equivalent.
  • Change Management & Tools like JIRA/VSTS.
  • Version control & Tools like SVN/GIT/Clearcase.
  • Understanding of Traceability management & Tools like Reqtify or equivalent.
  • Software Architecture & Design.
  • Software Test Life Cycle.
  • SDLC, Agile Scrum.
Your Qualifications:
  • We are seeking candidates with strong technical knowledge of embedded systems and software development.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering is required.
  • Prior experience as a technical lead or manager would be beneficial.
How You Will Contribute:
  • You will lead and manage a team of engineers.
  • You will be responsible for creating test plans and implementing quality assurance processes.
  • You will ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
