Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins, and be able to translate project requirements into functional, responsive websites.

The successful candidate will design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, maintain and update existing WordPress websites, optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices, collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions, troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs, integrate third-party APIs and services, and stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
