We are looking for an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team.

This role involves designing, configuring and deploying industrial automation systems using SCADA technology.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with Ignition SCADA and MES applications, as well as a strong understanding of OT/IT integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions
  2. Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases and cloud
  3. Develop and maintain secure efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA protocols
  4. Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within the manufacturing industry
  • Mandatory Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
