Financial Professional Role

We are seeking an accomplished and skilled Accountant to assume key responsibilities in our organization.

  • Accounting Operations: Manage financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Reconciliation Services: Regularly reconcile bank and credit card accounts to guarantee timely and accurate reporting.
  • Tax Compliance Management: Collaborate with senior advisors to ensure adherence to tax regulations (GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, payroll taxes).
  • Financial Reporting Solutions: Prepare working paper packages for comprehensive financial statements.
  • Client Onboarding Process: Utilize expertise in onboarding Canadian clients, ensuring seamless integration into our accounting systems and processes.
  • Data Management Services: Perform data entry tasks as necessary.
  • Tax Preparation Support: Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and related documentation. Demonstrated understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE/GAAP), taxation, and compliance.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll functions, including client onboarding, payroll processing, etc.
  • Client Communication Strategies: Effectively communicate with clients via email and phone to gather necessary information and clarify details.

PREFERRED TOOLS & SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY:

  • QuickBooks Online experience is highly valued.
  • Xero and other online cloud accounting software will be considered a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is mandatory.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, CAs) is required.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and manage work pressure effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
